The brainchild of Andy Mueller—Chicago transplant and friend of Someoddpilot—The Quiet Life has been making waves in the fashion world since ’97 for its art-forward apparel and accessories. When we were tasked with building an ecommerce site for the West Coast brand, we tapped into Andy’s passion for graphic design, photography, and skating to build a super clean, super flexible .com.
An easy-to-use digital Lookbook page showcases The Quiet Life’s most recent artist collaborations, as well as its complete archive of collections. The page embodies the brand’s aesthetic with its super editorial, minimal, and attention-grabbing style. By giving space for the images in each lookbook to breathe, the collections speak for themselves and leave a lasting impression on readers and consumers.
In order to bring life to the brand’s photography project, The Camera Club, we gave it prominence in the nav and designed an elegant format to show off the stunning photos. The Club has since become a treasured digital community for photographers and TQL fans alike, and with the super simple “Submit” form, it’s easier than ever to show off your insanely rad shots.
