As an international brand whose products are available in over 150 countries, Merrell Footwear sought a digital firm that could design, develop, and maintain a content-heavy website centered around a teeming ecommerce page. Merrell’s global website is their biggest, most visible storefront, and online sales make up a significant portion of their business.
Today we act as the stewards of Merrell’s web presence, developing monthly and seasonal content updates to their homepage and featured galleries. In 2012, we launched a new Merrell Footwear website that uses large, bold and clean messaging to highlight the brand’s movement into the athletic space. We re-designed nearly every page of the site, architected new page additions from scratch, and executed our front-end development duties locked in sync with our friends at Wolverine and CQL. As part of the brand’s continued evolution, we recently art directed and photographed all assets—from expansive photographs of the Italian mountainside down to the minutiae of shoe box design—for a global marketing campaign for Merrell’s new line of premium shoes.
