Web development and online store for a Michelin-rated Chicago restaurant.
Longman & Eagle is Someoddpilot’s favorite restaurant. Why? Because the food is impossibly good, earning the place a Michelin star in its first year of operation. Because our friend Cody Hudson designed the interior and collateral with our other friends, Mode Carpentry (who have also designed furniture for our office). And because it’s operated by our friends from The Empty Bottle. Longman is the dream team of Chicago entrepreneurs (and friends) and we were pleased to help out by redeveloping their website from the ground up. We worked through information architecture, optimized their menus to be dynamic and easily updatable, placed the whole thing on a WordPress CMS, customized a shopping cart to sell Longman goods, and integrated a 3rd party room reservation system for the inn above the restaurant.
