Photography, print and packaging design for a record label
Consumers Research & Development emerged within Chicago’s music scene just as we were setting up our design shop and launching our own record label imprint. Both of us had similar ideas about music and design, and it wasn’t long before we were working together. Our in-house photography and illustration work has formed the basis of the Consumers aesthetic, as we worked hand in hand with them dreaming of the next big thing. From branding, identity, 12″ label sleeves, compilations, 7″ and 12″ records, CD’s, to web sites, posters and artist portraits. We’ve been through it all together, and it helped form the basis for our branding experience and our get-it-done-yourself ethos.
