The World Cup is the most popular sporting event on the globe, and Budweiser is America’s most iconic beer. In 2010 DDB Chicago approached us to create a logo for Budweiser’s expansive tournament sponsorship.
Olé, olé olé olé!
The concept was to create a mark for Budweiser’s fantasy team that would serve print, web, tv, merch and the ephemera that makes up an integrated campaign. We mined and extracted elements that permeate Bud’s brand, from its trademark glass shape to the ornate details on every can, remixed with design elements of a traditional crest.
