Web design, development, and ecommerce for a music editorial.
Long form, wide angle.
Alarm Magazine was founded in 1995 as a way to catapult young, contemporary bands over the wall of the independent music scene. The publication itself is a thick tome of a book that contains longform articles and big, beautiful photography. With this in mind, we designed a website that spotlights Alarm’s colossal photos and deep stories, and addresses the ever-present adaptation task facing the publishing industry as editorials move online.
